  • Good thing this tornado didn't stay strong like it did in rural Osage County. Otherwise the damage would have been far worse in Southwest Lawrence. This storm decayed quite rapidly over Lawrence after dropping the tornado.

  • weak ass tornado

  • Haha to justin timberlake. Guess he'll have ya naked by the end of this tornado. LOL

  • I was hoping I would see myself drive by in this video, but it looks like you were on the east side of the funnel. I was on the west side. It was equally cool looking from that side, as the funnel was white. I was not far from your location at 2:40 when it touched down and tore up those apartments. Crazy afternoon.

  • i live in lawrence and i don't remember one in 2003

  • Call Wichita? You're in Topeka's warning area, boi!

  • Yeah I remember that thang, I was out runnin from it that day haha.

Love the JT part btw! lol.

  • Then there was the tornado that struck the area at 31st and Iowa back in June 1981. It heavily damaged the K-Mart there and wiped out a big portion of the trailer park across the street. There was a small movie theater next door (called the Cinema Twin), and I swear I've met maybe 50-60 people who CLAIMED they were there seeing a movie when the twister struck. Yeah, whatever. :)

  • I live in lawrence kansas.

  • omg i watched this happen it hit my uncles HOUSE listen and you can hear the sirens at the end
