There is nothing wrong with Crosby. It's just a case of his face being plastered everywhere so people get tired of him and hate him. If he wasn't the poster boy for hockey in the US people would love him. Any real hockey fan knows he's a nice guy who works hard and is one hell of a player. Most people that hate him are just bandwagon fans anyways.

@thatsmyword you obviously no little about ovechkin. Iv seen maybe 3 dirty hits. others were just hard hits that other people in the league cant take. And hogs the puck? He has 306 goals. and 315 assists. Please explain how he has more assists thn goals if he is a puck hog. The penguins have more depth then the capitals as well. There solid right through the middle of their lineup with Crosby Malkin and Stall. they also have skilled wingers and defencemen, The caps have a few allstars period.

@BrandonGriffin97 hits, but rarely does he play any dirtier unless provoked by the other team. And my opinion as a whole for any team in the league is, if you are going to provoke someone during a game you better be able to take what they can deal otherwise you shouldn't be provoking them in the first place.

@BrandonGriffin97 I think what he is trying to say is that Ovi being a dirty player meaning he intentionally (and not him so much specifically but more in as their team as a whole in my experience watching the Caps) hits people to hurt them on top of intentional high sticks, elbows, and jabs that are completely uneeded in the game with all the injuries to players throughout the league. In my experience watching Cooke he is nowhere near as dirty of a player. Sure he has hurt players making big

@thatsmyword they are both still young players with their best years ahead of them. crosby has an edge as for now, in production and grinding out the tough games, but he dives alot and complains far too much. ovi has a hell of a shot and can hit like a train, with time and more development he will become a great player, no doubt.

@rabbidchipmunk Malkin missed so many games last year and the year before and when he did play he wasn't 100% plus lets not forget HE DOESN'T PLAY ON SIDS LINE like BACKSTROM PLAYS ON OVECHINS LINE. But that amazing thing is those 2 last seasons Crosby had the best statistical seasons of his career. 88 goals and 165 points 122 games? That's insane.

@thatsmyword Lol watch the video where crosby is giving an after game interveiw saying he asks the refs to have the announce make an annoucement to stop throwing hats on the ice after ovechkins hat trick. Crosby and ovechkin are both amazing, but cindy crysbv is a pussy on the ice and ovechkin is just as much of a dangler as crosby but is also physical, Malkin carries Crosby
