@GnosticHumanist Additionally, I am friends with many spiritual people. I consider myself to be at times very spiritual, but sometimes people will form their beliefs based on personal experiences. If you had a spiritually profound moment, that personally changed all the rules for you, would your view become invalid just because you are unable to dish out evidence for arguments sake? Absolutely not. Proof and debate becomes irrelevant if one has a legitimate spiritual awakening.

@GnosticHumanist I like some of your points, but have to disagree with the intensity of your view on "belief". Belief is not just limited to being the acceptance of something with no evidence. In science one may call a "belief" a strong hypothesis. Many people accept and believe in the theory of the big bang, but being a theory this does not make it fact.YOu must agree that it would be senseless to free ones self of the big bang theory just because it lacks evidence to be fact.

I am a Christian and I accept Marilyn Manson, i think he's a intresting person and at least makes valid points for why he does the outrageous things he does, their are hypocritical Christian bands out there that offend me much more.
