Between Adams and Jackson there was tension, and it wasn't weak.
Jackson helped the country, and Adams wanted presidency.

There was a Spoil System that gave many jobs for free,
A great reward to supporters of Jackson's party.

Chorus (2X):

Quincy, Quincy,
Quincy, Quincy.
In the age of Jackson vs. John Quincy

On the Trail of Tears there were many hardships, for the Cherokee.
Genocide of the natives with no peace.

Verse 4:

In the South Removal Act was helpful, guiding Georgia to be free.
This did not sit well with the Indian Cherokee.

Chorus (2X):

Quincy, Quincy,
Quincy, Quincy.
In the age of Jackson vs. John Quincy

Native Americans wanted to stay, dud not want to leave the states.
What happened to volunteering, they had enough on their plates.

Quincy, Quincy.
