A.S.S.W.R.P. - After Show Songwriting With Random People
Sometimes after my shows,I write a song with whoever is left hanging around and upload it to Youtube.
The regular ferry service to Port Townsend was discontinued shortly before this show, and was replaced with a terrifying passenger ferry. Beware!!!!!!
and all did when I was on the thing was use the restroom and play gameboy with my kids

Did my post come thru? Maybe not! I think this video is a very creative piece of performance art! I own property on Marrowstone island just outside of PT. Welcome to our community. My daughters would love your Utube. Both are art majors, one at NYU and the other at Cornell. We welcome creativity and and imagination in PT.

So guys, I was here for this, and I just thought I'd mention that we weren't complaining about the ferries. Actually half of the people there had just gotten off the Seattle Port Townsend ferry, which was where we got the idea for the song. It was all random suggestions. Not a political agenda.
And PS, I live in Town, am currently attending college, have held down a steady job, have less facial hair than any guy I know, and DONT smoke pot. Please keep your stereotypes to yourself.

I will agree with your point that most countries do not care or are willing to stand by and watch which is a shame. In the 1930's the world developed a policy called appeasement towards Hilter. By the time WW2 ended more than 50 million (Jews, civilians, soldiers) people in Europe died. Saddam was a mini-Hitler and needed to hang. Genocide continues to this day-Serbia, Darfur, Liberia, etc. While we have our our problems here at lease were not being forced into to concentration camps.

Thats a valid point. But if that is the case than other world powers should have concerned themsevles with it too. I think if we had too invade it should have been a colaberation between more than one country.
The way it is now, to the rest of the world, it seems that America just stormed in guns blazing and now have no clue what to do.
Which is more or less the reality.
It should be a world issue not a US issue. We (the US) can't police the world. A: not our job, B: we have issues in the US.

Well at least your honest. The Kurds were gassed, Shities brutalized, women raped, people murdered by the thousands for no reason. For many people in America that is fine since its happening "over there" and not in our backyard. I think thats a sad commentary when we don't care about others living under the yoke of brutal regimes. If you had to live under Saddam's regime would you have wanted the U.S. to invade? My answer is yes.

Well supporting the military and approving of what they have done in Iraq are very different.
The people that come out of the military and the morals that they uphold I respect. What they have done in Iraq, even though life is better for many and worse for others, I feel was uncalled for.
So, what I done to support the military?
Personally? Nothing.
My grandfather was a colonel, a cousin of mine is in the marines, a teacher was a major and friend ex marine.
Only vicarious knowledge.

I live 15 miles from PT. The majority of PT will tell you they loathe the military and hate the fact that there are military bases in the local area. You can disagree with the government and thats fine but you act like you do not like the military by your comment-"What have you done to help other than destroying homes and killing people?" That shows how much you don't know about whats happening over there. Again please answer the question. What have you done to support the military?
