Trailer for "Baran"

Young Lateef (Hossein Abedini) discovers that the new Afghan laborer at the construction site where he works is actually a woman disguised as a man struggling to support her family. Upon learning this, Lateef becomes infatuated with her and does all in his power to help her survive, even at the cost of his own well-being.

Great film but dumb trailer..the movie is about love and to a lesser extent Iranian society and the plight of refugees..

An illegal teenage girl will find it next to impossible to get a building job on a construction site anywhere in the world.

As usual the yanks have to twist everything into their world-view.

You might as well reach for the Moon. Things are just not meant to be and in the case of the movie, no matter how hard the guy tries, he just couldn't seem to find a way to approach and thereby court the love of his life. He done everything he could but still he couldn't make things the way he would have want it to be. Worst, it was his tireless effort to help the girls family that ended up having them the money to travel back to afghanistan, leaving the guy without a lover.

Really, really good movies: Children of Heaven, The King of Masks, Horsman on The Roof, Rapa Nui, Caramel, Dances with Wolves. I agree, these trailers are trash, garbage and pathetic.
