The "First Hanmer" Scout master used to sing this song at fund raising dance parties way back in the 1950`s i was quite suprised at his ability to entertain, now sadly missed, those were the days...

Well,I like this song,Slim Whitman covered this song too only his version is faster...which is kewl...and he said he wouldn't sing a song he couldn't sing in church....so I guess this means the song is tame enough for him and church.*

Well, thank you 99drunkenmknkey. So far you're the only one that figured out I was jesting. The rest seem to think that I don't know what a lariat is - as if... Yodeling has got to be THE lamest attempt at music, except for rap, that is. I mean, I just can't see myself singing about a knot in my piece of rope for all of the money...well,...iit would take a lot...This was lame even in its day...
