Kinkade's paintings are very good. He's made money because he makes many mainstream people feel good with his paintings and there's nothing wrong with that. My favorite painters are from the late 19th century, like William Bouguereau. I absolutely hate Picasso. I think he was one of the worst assholes in history because he destroyed the art world. Kinkade is not my favorite by I hate all the assholes who bash him, like it's a crime to make cute, popular art and to be a good businessman. Fuck you

@chandru1103 IDK its hard to explain I think they are awesome The settings such as the little cottages way out in the woods with all the nature settings such as trees all that they are comforting In fact I have several of his paintings!

what bothers me about the whole kinkade empire isn't the mediocre work (I do like much of the work of the Hudson River School, which this stuff is sort of derivative of, though), his sleazy arrogance, or his greed, but the fact that people are actually dumb enough to buy this crap.

Life IS NOT black and white....A simpler life?! When has anyone experienced a life that is simple...and when would you want to? Live your life and make it memorable not pastoral. No one lives that ideal so stop trying. This guy is ridiculous.
