@andrewmayne no, there was nothing bad meant in that. I was saying that the sheer idea of an origami effect is brilliant enough to stir up tons of effect using origami, something that magic just forgot to use until now. A clever method just adds to the effect.

Interesting! Reminds me of that effect in your book Mojo with the crumpled ball and the paper airplane, although this looks much more practical. It would've been nice to see a longer preview though. There are still a lot of questions to be answered
