@mad91K The problem with that is accidents such as negligent discharges and accidental shootings would skyrocket. The vast majority of people the police come up against are unarmed. I'd say tazers would be far more effective.

every police officer should have been issued with a gun , as it stands now normal bobby has little respect and is highly vulnerable from knife attack.

bit of a worry you need subtitles to understand a man pointing a gun, might help save a few lives if they didnt scream

Most of the "Guns" shown here are either air pistols,replica,blank firers or deacts,out of all the ones show I spotted only one or two that might have been the real thing.Most of these "weapons" are perfectly legal to own bit are removed by the police as a matter of course whenever the see one,be it in someones home when the kick the door down or when they do a vehicle stop and search etc.Unless the owner fits their description of a "responsible" person they will confiscate it.
