Edit, just found out one of the councillors lives on the byway subject to a closure!

@1xp4wq Then I would say they're stupid for buying a house there. These are ancient roads that have thousands of years of history. It's not like we popped up all of a sudden and started using it. Then they complain when a bike comes up it EVEN AFTER ADMITTING it's the first use in over a year?

Sven, couldn't you submit your own videos as evidence of the fact that these byways are hardly used? Will there be some type of public meeting that you could attend, etc?

I know this vid is almost 2 years old now but i watched it and fully appreciate your efforts.

once boats are closed they will be gone forever.

the public has many routes that aren't boats.

these boats, certainly for motorcycling should be invested in more heavily imo for the future enjoyment of everyone. not just for people living close by in their private fantasy paradise world.

I need help with a byway, I drive a pony and trap Ffor 2 years I have tried to access Kitsbridge Lane TRO132 but due to cattle grids with poor gates to the side I can't. You have it listed as a BOAT where can I get this confirmed, PROW call it a restricted Byway. The land owner is the Parish Council Chairmanand and is simply rude and unhelpful. You keep saying the TRO will close this lane? Is that right? I thought it would only stop motorbikes from going on it so you will still be able to walk it, or cycle or ride a horse along it? After a TRO it will be peaceful and quiet, the surface will not be damaged, seems a much better idea, a much better environment to me.

Hi svengalie i have sent a letter so has my 2 brothers and thay passed it on to there freinds, its mad we are no bother to peaple, hope we get enough objections.

@svengalie i was told of one in dorking where the road was closed and the resisdents where unable to get to their houses lol.. so in that case i can drive up the lane as long as i need access to the houses? i'll just keep a letter in my jeep that i need to personally deliver to the councilloris that a valid reason for access?
