Kite Boarders in Palm Beach, Aruba

The best time of day to kite board is late afternoon. This particular spot you see is the windsurfing and kiteboarding capital of the world. Why? High winds but calm water. The winds come out of the east and come over the island and blow off shore. Put a kite up and you can really take off. Some kite boarders are catching 15-20 of air and get some serious hang time. This video was taken from my room at the Marriott Surf Club. I was on the 14th floor.
