i haven't played rome total war, but here is a generalization of ROTK:

your force is comprised of a number of generals. each general can can control a unit. you can put multiple generals together in one unit so that you can combine their abilities into the one unit. units will be of a specific type (spear, pike, crossbows, cavalry, etc). You use units to attack other cities. you have to recruit more generals so that you can have more units on the board.

I finally beat the first scenario of ROTK11 2 weeks ago. What fun! I hadn't put that much time into the game since I played the original during the summer between 7th and 8th grade.

I'm going back and playing the second scenario now.

Yes, I finished the challenges. I also recently beat the first scenario. Once you beat the first scenario, the higher level skills are available for you to use when you create officers. keep in mind, lightning and sorcery really aren't all that practical, but fun to try. i'd definitely recommend playing all the way through one of the scenarios so that you can unlock all of the skills, though.

Advanced pretty easy =O with both xiahous and the overpowerd cao ......some fire traps and i kill them in 2-3 months^^

The game is awesome, i play it for like a 3 years now, and i must say, that for a pro, it's prety easy and don't have mor fun, but i stil play, in Dong Zuo Cenario, i chose Cao Cao, put on advance mode, and when Dong Zuo came to atack me, whit more tan 90.000 soldiers, i have spread some rumors on the city and on hu lao gate, and i get Lu Bu to my side, and with Lu Bu, Xiahou Dun, Cao Cao and Xiahou Yuan, i repeal the atack, FUCKING EPIC and HARD! :')

Ehhh... Ligthing goes well with focus. Put Ma Su with a black magic guy and you got a eletrical gattling gun. (It goes even better witha zhuge liang around, electrical and stun gun)

well i not sure u guys have try to play the puk version it is more harder than the original version. the original version are way to easy but for the puk u will get attack by all direction most of the time.

combine rotk10 n 11 n u have the perfect strategy game... but i still prefer rotk10... but i love the graphic n war ideas of rotk11
