How big is that cuckoo clock.
-
I wonder if there is not enough air going through the pipes that produces the "cuckoo" sound. It sounds more like "peep, peep". At least the clock part appears to work fine.
-
cute clock i got one almost exactly the same. you know, the front frame of your cuckoo clock is missing a piece
-
are your bellows ripped? because the Cuckoo doesn't sound right :(
-
I love these clocks...especially an older one. I am a watch maker (self taught) but I never ventured into clock repair

here is what you do with the gong....take the clock off the wall..you will see the hammer once you take the back off. the hammer is bent too far down, what you need to do is bend it up....and try it again until you find the sound you are looking forl. Use tweezers or something like that,
let me know

Its still a nice little Cuckoo though.
-
Hammers too close to the gong?

Whats up with the gong Matt? Its not ringing freely.
this clock's cuckoo side got messed up because my cat bounced up to the entertainment center. pouncing on it and pulling it down. f**k! oh well, at least the time side runs.
