you can actually hear the battery bass track on here, people disect songs from rock band into individual tracks. anyway, do you wanna play gh3 on xbox live? lol
I.E. Whiplash, Fight Fire With Fire, Battery, etc. Where he plucks at certain points. Battery is at the beginning of the guitar's triplets, Whiplash is an assorted placement, and FFWF he plays the 1st and 3rd strums of the 7-note bursts, then plays the last three as a triplet. RIP Cliff.
I'm fairly sure that Cliff never used a pick, since he could just fingerpluck extremely fast. The common mistake with Battery though is that the bass actually does not have any galloping at all. It's played like that often, but it really used a heavy fuzz effect without gallops in it.
trujillo is really good and flamenco guitar also, and he never uses a pick which is insane for songs like battery, I'm not sure if cliff ever used a pick
Indeed. While Cliff was a mastermind at the bass, I'm sure it must have been a helluva lot harder to play with a guy practically able to play lead guitar AND bass. Trujillo is a bit more mellow and symbolizes the epitome of a good and robust bassist, but can still get in his solos and fills. With Cliff it was more "OMG CLIFF PLAY BASS FOR US" and it cut into the band noticeably more than their current bassist does.
dude you have no idea who you're talking to. I understand my comment was kind of obnoxious, and I think I meant to put this comment on another video... sorry. But yeah Robert Trujillo is insane, so was Cliff, but even Metallica has said its easier playing with Trujillo
Try again. If you think Trujillo is a good bass player, look up Cliff Burton. In all seriousness, just because this is GUITAR Hero doesn't mean you can randomly talk about GUITAR bands and spell it wrong for Chrissake.
