  • Why was he frank?

there has to be a story behind that

  • As far as I remember, Tim McInnerney had throat problems, and the understudy wasn't available - so RO'B stood in for about three shows or so...

  • do you have any with ade (brad) talking?

  • Watch the Over at the Frankenstein Place video.

  • Funny, I had always read that he wrote the part of Eddie for himself, but ended up doing Riff Raff... O_o

  • I saw one of the shows when Richard O'Brien played Frank. There was no warning to the audience (not even the usual slip in the programme or announcement that Tim M was ill), so when Sweet Transvestite started and Richard O walked out, the audience erupted! he was superb - malevolent and sexy all at the same time. I've seen him play Riff Raff and Eddie, too.

  • It made my night finding this! I was lucky enough to be there one of the nights where Richard stood in as Frank. It was such an amazing evening. There had been rumours that Richard would be standing in, but no-one took them very seriously. The reaction of the audience when a bald headed Frank appeared at the top of those stairs was absolutely amazing!

  • amazing :) hehe

  • You said 'EVERYONE'S seen him play Riff Raff' - I don't believe that 'everyone' went to the shows in the year that he as playing Riff Raff back in the early 70s, but correct me if you can prove otherwise.

  • Um. Yes. They have. He was the ORIGINAL Riff Raff in the London performances in the 70's.

  • Not LIVE on stage, they haven't, clever clogs.

  • Everyone's seen him play Riff Raff lol

  • just LOOK at those heels :DDD

  • where is Rocky Horror playing in London?
