  • i've had about 3 ct scans and 15+ mri's

  • One MRI, One CT scan, about 3 x-rays (of bones, not teeth), and an EKG. That was cool. I could see my heartbeat, and then they did an ultrasound- oh, yeah, and I had an ultrasound before because they needed to look at my organs- but I got to watch my heart beat on an ultrasound

  • doctor who?

  • wow. i have a medicine interview next week. And they always ask the questions 'Why medicine?' and I know i want to do medicine, but my reasons are all the boring reasons the interviewers hear all the time! so i'm struggling. I wish I knew I wanted to be a doctor as early as you. im impressed. make sure you keep that book for when your 18 (or whatever the age for medical school is in america)!

  • Just to let you know I am amazed and very impressed at how you want to be a doctor at this age and that u are intent. I hope you never change your mind and are passionate about it. I just recently figured that out. I want to be a Doctor aka M.D. aka Physician. lol. Doctors prefer the term Physician once u get older so remember that it sounds more professional. But yeah u got alot of school to go buddy. your still young so do good in school. Im in my first year old college. 8-10 years 2 go lol!

  • ahahahaha at how he thinks 1981 is old hahaahaha. i was born in 1989 so does that make me old?

  • Back in Fe-and March I was on that danged bedpan ALOT after coming out of the coma. Not because I could pee because I couldn't. My kidneys were in full failure. But because if you can imagine being in a coma for 8 days and being fed by a tube that goes down your throat delivering liquid supplements...well you can imagine why when I woke up the bedpan and I were best friends for awhile. haha Plus even when I started to eat solid food I didn't get out of the bed for the first 3 weeks!

  • Believe it or not, that book is still available from Amazon. It was published in 1994, so it's not badly out of date. Thanks to your great review, I've just ordered it for my grandson. Thanks Ike!

  • I guess you could say your doctor knows you inside and out!
