I have found that by adding an ND filter ( I used Panasonic DMW-LND46PP ) that I was able to slow the shutter speed in Manual Creative Video mode so that an airplane propeller looks blurred, as it does to the naked eye. Without the filter, when the shutter speed is slowed, the videos become overexposed and washed out in bright sunlight. This also helps, but does not eliminate, the video streaking problem with this camera when shooting at bright point sources of light. I will try to get more samples with a train headlight as soon as I can.
Hey there, whats is a ND filter?cheers

Neutral Density filter. Basically like sunglasses for your camera, it lowers the amount of incoming light evenly across the spectrum. You can then use different apertures and shutter speeds than you could otherwise. I was able to use a slower shutter speed w/o overexposing, this makes it so the propeller is blurred looking, instead of the strobe effect that you sometimes see in videos of prop planes.

I should add that an interesting feature of this camera is that you can change the shutter speed, aperture or exposure, WHILE you are shooting video, which can be helpful to immediately evaluate various settings.
