Three Pit Bulls, One Rough Play Fight

Inky, Puddin' and Twilight are former strays or cruelty cases. All are spayed/neutered, which does help when dealing with same sex dogs and especially other American Pit Bull Terriers. Inky, the cropped female, is the dominant dog and lets poor Twilight remember her highest position in the pack every day. This is *not* fighting, this is very rough play. No dog is getting carried away, no dog is enraged, no dog is being beaten down or threatened to submit. Just pit bulls being dogs, many breeds and mixes play this way.

There is no such physical act as "locking" the jaws. Dogs bite down hard because they want to. I know what you're referring to and can assure you, after having APBTs since 1990, that there was no aggressive action in this video. Power plays, maybe, but not aggression.

If you learn to read their body language, you'll know they're just playing. It does look like a bloodless dog fight, though.

lol I wish my wolfhound would play this gentle with me, she likes it rough but is starting to settle down and not get as carried away, soon she will have as much control as your dogs. by the way if any of these dogs yelped the other would probably let up a bit nobody wants to hurt their play mates or they will lose them.
