The Estonian War of Independence, which occurred in 1918-1920, took place during the Russian Civil War, was the Republic of Estonia's struggle for sovereignty in the aftermath of World War I and the Russian Revolution. It resulted in a victory for Estonia and was concluded in the Tartu Peace Treaty.

  • Kas siin ei ole mitte kaadreid omal ajal laineid löönud filmist, mis tehti Vabadussõjast ja kus olid tollel ajal kõige suuremad lahinguplaanid.

  • Filmis on mõned kaadrid filmist "Noored Kotkad".

  • good video but why did you use a finnish song? this song is singed in veteran funerals in finland. Respect to the estonian volunteers in winter and continuation wars. And the finnish volunteers in the Estonian indepence war.

  • The Finnish war song was used due to the excellent words and message which it carries and therefore it fits also to the Estonian context.

  • Brothers in arms forever! From Poland.

  • @FINwarfare yes, we are ALMOST same nation, like swedes danes and norwegian are almost same nation. but almost is not 100 percent same.

  • @armeelane Almost same nation. Your language sound like slang of Finnish. I mean, there are even harder finnish slangs to understand. But estonian is easy to understand. Different borders, same ancestry. Even you have same melody, and similar anthem.

  • @FINwarfare well, you just proved what i said: estonians and finns ARE NOT same nation. finnic=/=finns. yes, we are closely related, but that doesnt make us same nation any more than my brother isnt same person as i am. by that logic, swedes=danes=norwegians, but you know that it isnt true. We got separated even longer ago than swedes n danes n norwegians, so we are definetly NOT the same nation, face it. We can be called brother nations tough.

  • @armeelane Okay, now you wanna me to make some facts.

Estonian people are Finnic people, and according to wikipedia and other sources they are REALLY closely related to Finn's. We came from same way, only what happened Finnish people separated and some of them went to north.

  • @FINwarfare same ancestry and similar(!) languages does not make us same nation. we are different, we are separate nations. saying that estonians and finns are one nation is like saying russia and ukraine or portugal and spain or china and japan are same nation. and yes, we have differences, theres no point denying that.

  • @armeelane Different nations? We have same ancestry, similar language, and good friendship.

And you call we are different? I think that guy thought it was only part of Viena/Aunus expeditions there were fighting finnish karelian and estonian people.

  • @darnjack0roll first of, i bet your Russian, second of all...Your ape

  • @Sampolit first,u apeshit our hymn, then u fucking ape our veteran funeral song,u never stop aping us?,u estonians make me sick
