Our Home Labor and ER birth of Ramze 9-10-10

our planned homebirth was great..everything that I wanted. The mid-wife was at another birth and never showed up...at the end I knew there was something wrong..the baby wouldn't come down. So we got to the er at 5:25 and had the baby at 5:31. The cord was wrapped around the top of her head so she was stuck..the doctor and nurses folded me in half and I pushed HARD for 2 min and she was born. Her face is purple from being stuck... I had a great birth sorry it wasn't at home but I have a healthy baby girl and that is what matters most

That's terrible about your midwives I know ours only take so many, and you work with a team of four midwives to so this can't happen

@cindy600 They take on too many clients, which is stupid and they should know better. Because you are meant to be able to trust your midwife!
