This is the first in a series of films covering the success of the Dept. of Energy's Energy Efficiency and Conservation Block Grant program (EECBG). Fulton County, GA used $814,300 of grant money to retrofit and upgrade their facilities, and created $2,000,000 per year in savings. The savings were in electricity, CO2 and methane greenhouse gasses, diesel fuel, land use and water resources. We hope to cover some of the other 2400 recipients/regions of this grant throughout the US.
