Selena - OMG WHAT ARE YOU DOING HERE?

??? - Well duh I'm here to visit you.

Selena - When did you get here?

??? - A few hours ago. I called your mom and told her not to tell you that I was here. I wanted to surprise you.

Selena - You sure surprised me.

*Texas. Demi's house*

(doorbell rings)

Mrs. Lovato - Hi Nick. What brings you here?

Nick - I was just wondering where did Demi go?

Mrs. Lovato - I'm afraid I can't say where. Don't worry Nick, she'll be fine.

Nick - I just want to be sure. Selena told me to take care of Demi for her and make sure she's okay. How long will she be gone?

Mrs. Lovato - I honestly don't know but I trust her. She'll come back when shes ready. I understand that she needs to get away for a while.

Nick - Thanks for the info. Mrs. Lovato.

Mrs. Lovato - You're welcome.

(Nick goes to the hospital.)

*Inside Joe's room*

Joe - When can I get out of here? I'm already feeling better.

Kevin - Patience Joe.

Joe - I've been waiting long enough. I don't think I can stay here anymore! I need Demi. I need to see her. I need to hear her.

(Nick comes in the room)

Joe - Nick! Where's Demi?

Nick - Uhm well Joe, she kinda went away for a while. I don't know where but her mom said that she'll be fine.

Joe - What if something happens to her? I won't be able to forgive myself for not being there to save her.

Kevin - Sounds like someone's in love.

Joe - Took you long enough.

Kevin - Harsh much.

Joe - Please please please help me find her.

Nick - Joe she'll come back when she's ready.

Joe - This is my fault isn't it?

Nick - Joe don't blame yourself. *mumbles* You guys are so alike.

Joe - What did you say?

Nick - Nothing.

*L.A.*

??? - So what should we do?

Selena - Hmm how about we go watch a movie?

??? - Sure, I'd like that.

Selena - Dems, you okay?

Demi - I'm fine.

Selena - You don't look fine. Come on tell me.

Demi - My life sucks without him Sel.

Selena - Don't tell me that. Tell him.

Demi - I miss him so much.

Selena - Then you should be in Texas with him not here. You and Joe have been through a lot. You'll get through this one. I know you will.

Demi - I just need to be away right now. I promise once I go back to Texas, I'll talk to him and settle this.

(phone rings)

Selena - Hello?

??? - Hey Sel. It's Joe.

Selena - Joe. Hey uhm what's up? (puts her phone on speaker)

Joe - Well nothing really. Still in the hospital. Currently thinking about Demi. I can't stop thinking about her. Not seeing her, talking to her, holding her is killing me!

Selena - Joe that's so sweet. You should save that for later and tell her. (looks at Demi)

Joe - Do you know where she is?

Selena - I'm sure wherever she is, she's safe.

Joe - I hope so. I have a feeling that I'm the reason why she went away. Sel, what happened?

Selena - Joe, that's something you and Demi need to talk about.

Joe - Kevin said something along those lines. I'm worried now.

Selena - Don't worry too much. You should get some rest, if you want to be out of there. I'll talk to you soon okay?

Joe - Thanks Sel. (hangs up)

Selena - Dems.

Demi - I'm fine Sel. I've been crying so much I don't think there's anymore tears left. (laughs a little bit)
