You don't need to root the phone to update it to Android 2.2. I have the htc aria and I just updated it to android 2.2 with live wallpapers and everything else! Here is what you do: 1. Go to HTC . com 2. Search htc aria sync 3. Download htc sync 4. Search Aria 2.2 update 5. Dowload the update 6. Go to HTC sync 7. Plug in your HTC Aria 8. Update your phone! 9. Enjoy 2.2 I can post a video if anyone wants me to.
