Berkeley, CA May 23, 2010
Mayor Tom Bates and members of the City Council came out to support Measure C and take the plunge to save Berkeley pools.- fully clothed - in Willard Pool with the Barracudas youth team members. The event took place during the Swimathon held at Willard Pool to benefit the YES on Measure C campaign.

Measure C is a $22.6 million bond measure and parcel tax in Berkeley's June 8 election to rebuild and repair the city's four public pools. Two of these pools including Willard are scheduled to close permanently if Measure C does not pass.

Thank to city of Berkeley Mayor Tom Bates, Vice Mayor Linda Maio, and Council Member Kriss Worthington for taking the plunge for Measure C and our Berkeley pools.
