We take it on trust that the drugs our doctors prescribe are safe and effective.
But this special investigation exposes huge failings in the system of medicines regulation that is supposed to monitor drug safety. It reveals how patients' lives have been put at risk as a result.

I took seroxat for 2 years - when you come off it you need to understand it will drag your mind and your mood into places that are not places your normal mind will not go - anger, despair, turmoil and that it is the drug that is making you feel like that, so not to act on it and not to trust your emotions during that time
I personally went beserk - frothing anger - outbursts of aggression, propensity to violence and despair and an exageration of all the worst parts of the mind

I'm so glad that films like this have made people like yourself more aware of the dangers. I hope you have found a better treatment for your illness since and believe me you made the right decision. Take care xx

I was just prescribed seroxat. I decided not to take it. My sister in law is on Seroxat. She said she became suicidal when she tried to get of the medicine. She warned me not to take it. I took one tablet but not any since.
