  • Looks good but way to slow.

I float and tile 3 wall tub plus vanity in the same day

  • @marcsimonelli

I used to do 2 a day. Wore out my body. This video was made for tile guys who have never floated. I made it to explain the basics. It is slow, but you need to know I am mixing my own mud and hauling it upstairs on a remodel. ;) No Helper. New construction, scratch coat and float....D-100...you ever wanna pay me to race, I promise I will perform.

  • I used to do 2 day as well. Float over scratch, piece work production. after 20 years my shoulders are worn out, and I don't care if anyone calls me slow. If you want to see my work take a look at my website, .... hamiltontileandstone..dot ..com....cheers =)

  • @emmy6423 Sorry to bust your bubble, but it is still used today. Do these new products you speak of form circular/radius walls? The mud method will last the life of the house. Your right, their are temporary ways to install tile in wet areas.

  • @emmy6423 Thanks for the advice...I will heed it in the future

  • Excelent, great skills.
