The ProgPower USA VIII DVD is now available for pre-orders with a confirmed shipping date of January 29th, 2007. The DVD will released as Region free NTSC in Dolby 5.1 Surround Sound with a running time in excess of 3 hours. It will also be available as 2-cd set. The track list is as follows:

  • lol, what if Dream Theater was there, Mike Portnoy's drumming would have to be limited.

  • Hell if I know, but I think it was mostly in the interest of saving time.

  • lol, doesn't it take away from some bands that may use bigger kits? Or did all of them not need anything more out of the drum kit they used?

  • Probably for the sake of time. Imagine they have like 10-15 bands. It'd take way too long to switch drum kits for each band.

  • That's the thing though, it's not very goo IMO. It's boring and uninspired.

  • Who cares if Theocracy's music is not original or simple (which its not) as long as it still sounds good (which Theocracy does in spades on the album anyway)?
