November 1, 1961 - A former tenant at 1600 Pennsylvania Avenue returns for a visit. President Kennedy welcomes former President Truman to his one-time residence for an overnight stay and conferences on some policy decisions. There are greetings to the White House staff from their old boss, and a fond kiss for daughter Margaret , who is also a guest. Mrs. Kennedy escorts Mrs. Truman to discuss housekeeping problems, no doubt. A visit that recalls fond memories.

November 2, 1961 - The National Security Council meets to discuss nuclear weapons testing. President Kenne-dy issues a statement on nuclear testing

November 11, 1961 - President Kennedy places a wreath at the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier. Arlington Natio-nal Cemetery during Veterans Day ceremonies

November 13, 1961 - President welcomes guests to the White House for a concert by cellist Pablo Casals at a dinner honoring Governor Luis Muñoz Marin of Puerto Rico.

November 20, 1961 - President Kennedy meets with Foreign Minister Paul Henri Spaak, Chief of the Cabinet Baron Rothschild, and Ambassador Louis Scheyven of Belgium.

November 25, 1961 - Interview by Premier Khrushchev's son-in-law, Soviet journalist Aleksei Adzhubei. Hyannis Port, Massachusetts
