As a lot of you know, Sadie was being treated for a pulled muscle for 20 days. On Saturday july 26 she acted sick. On sunday july 27, we took her to the emergency clinic. She had a very high temp. Was given antibiotics 1 liter of fluid and blood tests. I got the results early Monday July 28th. Sadie was in full renal failure. Her inability to get up was due to calcium deposits in her joints. The vets felt she had a tumor in her kidneys. Sadie passed peacefully away last night on july 28th at 5:45 pm. We will dearly forever miss our Sadie, our pretty girl. Our friend.
I'm sure she is running and playing with my son Randy who passed away 23 years ago on July 28th, 1985. There she will wait for us and I do believe we will see her again, with no illness.
For Sadie, she was the light of our lives, our best friend, our guardian, our protector. We will miss you each and every single day until we meet again Sadie. It has been a true pleasure having you with us, even for so short a time. At least it feels like a very short time. 6 and a half years was certainly not enough my sweet girl. We love you Sadie and always will.
I want to thank everyone who showed us kindness in these horrendous 3 days. Without you, I would be more devestated than what I am. Thankyou.

  • She was such a beautiful girl she went so fast just like my Annie girl she went in for a cushing's disease and 8 day's latter I had to put her down because it turns out she also had a stomach tumor and would not eat any thing and she also tested positive for cushing it was the worst day of my life

  • thankyou very much animallover1978. Sadie was being treated for a pulled muscle or so they thought it was that. She acted sickly on the 26th. On the 27th we took her to emergency. they gave her fluids and took blood work. the blood work showed she was in full renal failure. We had the vet come her to help her go peacefully. come to find out the pulled muscle turned out to be calcium deposits in her joints. It's horrible to loose our beloved pets. Thankyou very much for watching my Sadie.

  • sorry for your loss, looks like she was well loved

  • Thankyou very much dogsnbears. She was dearly loved and we will always miss her. She used to talk whenever we came in the door, and I can't tell you how much I miss that. And of course her trying to bowl us over with her bowling ball, lol. I appreciate you taking the time to watch and comment on our sweet girl Sadie.

  • Sadie, please take care of your momma in heaven sweet girl. RIP Linda & Sadie.

  • rest in peace....love from rufflesworld .

    goodbye Linda.

  • Thanks for your kind words! :)

  • Thankyou my friend. I once had a dog that lived to be 18. Such a sweet old man. Thankfully he died peacefully in his sleep. Big hugs to you and your senior guy from me and the rotts.

  • No problem!

I really know how you feel. One of my dogs is almost 16 years old, and he'll probably die very soon... :((

  • Thankyou very much my friend. It's always hard when they leave us. Sadie was a very brave girl who was sick only a short time. It devastated us to lose her. She was only 6 and a half and she kept her illness well hidden. She will always be in our hearts as I'm sure your Rosie will be. May they all rest comfortable until we see them again. It really means a lot to me that you stopped by to meet my Sadie.
