there is a similar effect with gasoline, altho it takes a little longer then the nail polish remover, also it is really flammable and sticky.

What he doesn't want you to know, is that if you use gasoline you can make napalm. Melt Styrofoam in gasoline until it turns into a frothy white, substance...You've just made napalm. Be careful.
