@truebeliever786 Yeah, it's annoying when Christians dismiss the Old Testament laws such as the prohibition in pork (Leviticus 11:7, Isaiah 66:17, Deuternonomy 14:8) due to the New Covenant in Hebrews 8:6-13. I would assume that something God ordains for his people would be eternal, unless it only applies to a specific situations.

@deviIstudios Yes but the traditional Islamic viewpoint is that this statement still applies to Muslims, its a reminder of what God said to his chosen people back then and it still applies today...

@truebeliever786 I agree. Also, do you know what Allah means in 5:32 when saying that he ordained it for the Children of Israel? I know that is a reference to the Jews, but does that mean it is a universal statement?

@deviIstudios Not really because the next verse just says to inflict harsh punishment, like amputation and crucifixion on 'war mongers' and 'mischief makers'... Sounds a bit Draconian, but hey, who says that's wrong?

Everyone has different moral points of view, the Holy Qur'an is just one of them... People can believe what they want...

I can quote verse after verse, teaching peace and racial equality.

Here's some you should go and read that teach not to murder, not to make mischief, not to compell others in religion and to judge mankind based on their piety, not their nation or tribe (meaning no racism):

5:32, 7:56, 2:256, 25:63

I do read and study, a lot more than you. I know about my own religion, okay? I don't need an Islam-hater to teach me. Islam destroyed racism.

@truebeliever786 Hey, you should actually go back and study the "real" Islam...the "real islam" is not a religion of peace OR racial equality...American Muslims are not viewed as true Muslims in the eyes of those who practice "true islam" it's not a religion bash it's a fact...read the Koran front to back...don't just skim through, read, and study...

Elijah Muhammad was a hypocritical disgrace because he taught Malcolm everything he needed to know, when Eljah Muhammad actually condemned his members at the NOI of adultery and he goes and does it with his secreataries.
