@4thDimensionFilms yes, LivingSkin/Touch Bionics made my prosthesis. LivingSkin was acquired by Touch Bionics. They did a very good job in creating my partial hand prosthesis and would recommend them.

@rextangle8 Have you ever heard of touchbionics? I'm missing my pinky and ring finger on my left hand and was told about my accident.

@4thDimensionFilms, it can get a little sweaty in very hot weather, but the large majority of the time the prosthesis is extremely stable and it fits tightly. I was told that I should use a lubricating jelly on my hand to assist in installation, and a stream of water between the hand and pros to remove. I've found using water to apply works also, and once the water dries up, the prosthesis remains tight to the skin. Please feel free to ask any other questions, either here or to my inbox.

Does it ever get sweaty?

@grandprismatic Hi, thanks for the nice comments. I figured that being depressed about the amputated fingers isn't going to make them reappear, so I've done my best to adjust to what I have left. I have the prosthetic fingers to make a more natural appearance when it seems appropriate, but they're not for working around the house or on the cars. I don't use them very much, preferring to use my truncated hand as it is to the best of my ability. Thanks for watching my vid(s).

You seem to have an upbeat take on it... keep rocking on and that scar with fade over time. Good luck man!
man im so sorry about what happened man but that gauntlet looks amazing, science can be great. Some kid in my school cut his off in my wood shop on a circular table saw right in front of me. Its not a pretty sight. Stray strong man

@TheAlteredTuning thanks for the kind words. I have adapted quite well to the missing fingers, with the most difficult thing now being trying to type this reply with 20% of the fingers being missing - funny thing is I still want to type 100% of the original words in my vocabulary. I hope the kid in your school has a speedy recovery and does the therapy to maximize the recovery of function in his hand.

@adz24888 I got tangled up with a table saw, gnarled up the fingers and took a chunk out of the wrist. I know a guy who lost the tips of all 4 fingers on his left hand working on his car.
