Van halen hasn't done anything close to there first alblum which was ground breakin ever since they have been hum drum at best, finally the only good frontman they had was roth and lets face it now that he's older he is no mick jagger

Everyone talks about Mike backing vocals being so great, but I think they are actually mediocre at best.

@zer0dahero How about trying to have some objectivity? Just because he's "Not Mikey" doesn't mean he has no talent. In fact, he's a better bass player, and nails the high harmonies on their new CD. Van Halen isn't needing Michael Anthony. I was skeptical, too, but reality is reality, and Wolfgang replaced him without the band hurting one bit.

Its unfortunate that we'll probably never hear Michael Anthony's backing vocals on a Van Halen albun ever again, since Eddie kicked him out to put his no talent kid on bass.
