my question = On the ‘Ludvico Drive-In’ track off the ‘Carajo’ EP, backup vocals were done by Laura Beard and Sarah Reiser, who eventually died in a car crash two years later. Did this influence any future songs, even if in some unknown semblance?
jim ward's answer = The song “Initiation” was a tribute to them as far as I know, Cedric obviously wrote the lyrics and was very close to the girls. It was and still is a tremendous loss.

@earzmundo The 2 girls aren't Sarah Reiser and Laura Beard are they (the girls in Cedric's previous group The Fall on Deaf Ears?) Someone below said that it was them, but I didn't think it was, because Napoleon Solo was written for them. I was under the impression that the song was about 2 girls who were fans. Do you know?
