You can't beat the live (1970) version IMO. Wo ho ho, ho ho ho,ho ho ho, I will hold etc. Any begrudging idiot, and God knows there are many Elvis detractors, simply can't deny The Kings vocal prowess here. You can knock Elvis for certain things but never have the audacity or naivety to deride Elvis as the consummate performer, and I kiss no mans ass, but I admire greatness. He probably should have left it alone, though ,in the mid 70's, as the 1970 live version in particular is The definitive..
