what joey says is true. im no longer classed as a newbie, im taking landscapes shots thats matching up to the pro's. well sometimes:) i still use a cannon 1000D and pentax k super. but i have invested in some good lenses and filters. how many people have you seen with lenses the size of rocket launchers and camera stuck on auto lol if your not gona listen to what a pro like joey says, you might as well just buy a compact or a phone with built in camera

He's doing you guys a favor and telling you guys what not to do, what to watch out for, what worked from his experience, etc. Of course it sounds condescending. He's making sure you get what he's trying to tell you. Why don't you arrogant people drop your egos for a second and really absorb what he's saying. And if he didn't gloat a little about his big clients and achievements, you idiots wouldn't listen. And when he does mention achievements, you guys call him arrogant. Come on, gtfo here.

YOU people are a part of "THAT" class of idiot people in the world that feel like they're being talked down to every time they receive instructions by people that are superior in skill. To those who hate on Joey for "being a condescending douche", maybe he's trying to convey his success while emphasizing the lack of need for fancy equipment. DUH. so obvious. YOU PEOPLE are just hating just to hate, trying to pick at things and taking them out of context just to find imperfection among perfection. Rather than appreciating good things, YOU people look for the clouds. Also, it's a tutorial, he's one of the best, of course he's sure of his craft. Why don't you people stop whining?

It's funny how people hate on Joey for being so good at his craft, saying dumb sh*t like "oh if he only had this this & that, he'd be lost". That's like saying the world's best tennis player would be lost if he only had a tree branch for a racket. STFU and stop hating. If you can't produce better shots, then learn how to, rather than trying to tear others' great achievements down to your level just so you feel better about your lack of achievement.
