The minting process for silver rounds doesn't begin until we get silver like this. Once we get the .999 fine silver, we can melt it down and begin minting.

  • AFTER ALL THE ENERGY YOU HAVE SPENT TO DO THIS....YOUR PROFIT IS NEAR ZERO. ONLY SILVER EAGLES COMMAND BETTER PRICES...BETTER TO SIT ON THE BARS AND WAIT.

  • @Tiggerpilot No joke! People do not realize the costs that go into making one silver round as they complain that premiums are too high. We are keeping costs as low as possible when offering these products. I don't know that I can always agree on the Silver Eagles part though... We've found that the spread between buying and selling is larger with ASEs than most rounds.

  • So you guys buy from apmex then make buffalo rounds?

  • @boipinoi604 WOW...Sorry for the delayed response. We do not buy from apmex. These bars were sent in by a customer who wanted these bars made into QSB rounds.

  • You need to do a video showcasing your new 10oz. statue of liberty bar, and showing how it is made......like a good 10 minute video.........srsly.

  • @boochieboy814 I like that idea. Even though it has been a year since you left a comment, I will see what we can do about that. Thanks

  • @penguinistas Actually these bars are ones a customer sent to have converted to rounds. I only wish we could get silver below spot, then our premiums could be really close to or even at spot.

  • @Tiggerpilot No doubt QSB bought the bar at a dollar or two below spot but can sell the newly minted bullion for a dollar or two over spot. And, the smaller denomination coins tend to fetch a better premium than 100 oz bars.

  • what is that, like 4-5k per bar?

  • RIP, Apmex.

  • Yes, how about taking my bars and turning them into 5 or 10 oz rounds? I'd like that.
