No deen is not better, he has his own amazing style and so does steve smith their are thins steve can do that cannot do and vice versa they are both top notch players

Deen is great, there really is no comparing with Mr. Castronovo. Steve Smith was and still is amazing and has fanominal technique, but my favorite drummer is Deen. He is the best of the best
