Metro North Railroad Work Extra 103 disgraces CSX Train Q430 by bringing 6 dead M7's past it at Marble Hill, en-route to Croton-Harmon. Q430 is the nightly freight from Oak Point Yard to Selkirk Yard in Albany. Q430 has SD40-2's 8842 on the point and 8849 trailing, with 120 cars. Work Extra 103 consists of GP35R 103 and 6 dead M7's. This was the night that there was a fatality at Riverdale, two stations north of Marble Hill. Some poor soul jumped in front of the 10:20 local to Croton and was instantly cut in half. While on the train, as we went through Riverdale, we went slow through the station on Track 2. I saw the cars still sitting there, empty, and a yellow bag blocking the view between the 1st and 2nd car, so as not to alarm the passengers to the fact that there was a body cut in two.
