We tested these "fully rugged" notebooks: General Dynamics Itronix GoBook XR-1, Getac M230 and Panasonic Toughbook 30. Here's how we did it.

  • According to Al gore...it should be sometime in the next ten years. Right now that freezer is warmer than the air outside my house.

  • Ok well.. what are the results? When exactly will my laptop be reaching a temperature of 175 degrees like it was in your oven?

  • yummy laptop pizzas fresh out of the oven.

  • They should be made to "shake and bake". When I was deployed overseas in Kuwait it was over 160 degrees on the flightline! Imagine the temps if you left your laptop inside of a closed vehicle? I did it with a camera and it was fubar.

    Oh I also agree useless without any test results.
