you can't say that MLB baseball players are better athletes than softball players, because as I said before you cannot compare male athletes to female athletes. They do not have the same structures. Sure MLB players are the best of the best in there own sport, as are softball players on national teams the best in their sport and of their own sex. They are both elite athletes, in the best shape they can possibly be, but its insane if you are trying to compare male athletes to female athletes.

@marcadaciti well, you really need to learn the basics, baseball pitchers have an advantage, they throw over hand. Unfortunately there are people in the world that do not realize this. Considering that girls from the outfield throw over hand to make it go faster and further. Thank you JillianSask for saying "Please go educate yourself before making such a stupid comment."

@awickedshimmy I'm sure there are a number of people that throw a softball at 150 kph... that's only 87 mph.  The best male pitchers in the world throw at 209 kph which equals 130 miles per hour. Just saying... for clarification.

@fjccommish But why would they switch to a different game? If they have been playing softball for years why would they want to switch? You pitch different and bat different and the lead off is different. They would have to switch everything they were taught to the baseball way of doing it.
