I wonder if ill pis there is it still work?

@urbex2007 Except distilled water is slightly acidic by nature picks up contaminants over time: dust, exposed metals (think heat sinks, solder, and the like), etc. It'll run for a period of time, but soon enough, it WILL fail.

I think your huffing the "special spray".
No fucking way I putting my computer in water or oil.
-
@jonhyboy122 You can use water, but it must be DISTILLED WATER with absolutely NO impurities as they are what conduct electricity in water. So you can quite safely run electrical items IN or UNDER distilled water...it was also on a UK TV show called Tomorrows World. They put a portable TV in a tank of distilled water and were told off as stupid thick people who didn't listen were trying similar stunts with tap water! Oil works better, it carries heat away better than distilled water...

@wiederhoeft and also the only way you could use water is if you waterproof the parts and that is more time consuming than is needed
-
@wiederhoeft highly doubtful. there's a reason why getting computer parts in contact with water is a bad thing because water damages electronics. Nobody in their right mind would use water for a submerged computer system. The only real option for that is mineral oil to prevent electronics from surging and blowing and coming into contact with other internal electric lines. so either this is a fake and the motherboard in the tank is a dummy build, or you're using mineral oil. Simple as that.
-
@hateWinVista Wow! Didn't think of that!
-
yep... 100% water
Thats not Water, Its just Mineral oil, Cause you can tell when he poures it, you can see how thick the "water" is, plus mineral oil, is non conductive to electronics

@jonhyboy122 I agree watching it carefully it is pretty clear that it isnt water but is extremely thick. It would have been alot cheaper for them to just use Distilled water =\ Noobs.
