I Seem To Remember it a bit different but Hey what do you expect from a second grader.  hehe Although I do remember sitting on the table in front of the bomb with nuthing between us Looking at his wife holding the string. When it went off. We've been thru alot together. Love ya Sis!!

That was an amazing story. Here's mine... I was doing a tandem sky dive jump for the first time with an instructor. At about 8 thousand feet he pulls our ripcord which deploys but is tangled...the instructor manages to cut it lose then use the reserve chute which deploys tangled. We spiral out of control, and fast! But it still slowed us enough not to kill me. I had a broken left leg. He was fine!

That was an amazing story. I am so happy you lived. II saw the movie that this was based on, Was the woman that was with the bad guy really as nice as the movie portrayed her to be? Were some of kids trying to plan something? Just curious.

I went through a terrible year from 8/04 to 11/05 with surgery chemorherapy, and radiation for non-hodgkin's lymphoma. At times I couldn't walk due to a bone tumor in my spine closing down on my spinal cord. I look back and think this really was a gift because it gave me a perspective on how short life is, and how eternity waits for us, and God, Very closely just around the corner. And Each day is beautiful, people are beautiful and I must be thankful and kind.

I'm glad that you lived. I have seen the movie that was done about it. Did you watch the movie? When unsolved mysteries did a piece on this they reported that several of the children saw and heard angels telling them what to do. I was just curious did you experience anything like that? Have you seen the movie or the unsolved mysteries piece that has been done about the Cokeville Wyoming case which you were involved in?

Last year I had a guest speaker in my college class who was one of the firemen involved with the rescue. He was also a teacher at the middle school I believe. He and his wife came and told us the whole thing from their point of view and it was absolutely miraculous. His last name was pieper I believe. Thanks for sharing your story! It is so amazing!
