You're Beautiful

What is wrong with society? Society's definition of "beautiful" is having a flat stomach, big boobs, big butt, long hair, and tan sexy skin. Because of this, teenagers don't think they're good enough anymore. They don't think they're being accepted. 10 year old girls think they're fat. 11 year olds cut. 12 year olds stop eating. 13 year olds wake up in the morning and stare at themselves in the mirror; pointing out every little imperfection. Society is also teaching girls at a young age to wear mini skirts, short shorts, and belly shirts- which is now leading to sexual activity. 10 year olds being pressured into having a boyfriend. 11 year olds making out. 12 year olds giving head. 13 year olds aren't virgins, and leading them to becoming an emotional wreck. Society is killing the teenager.

I've been called everything from fat to ugly to stupid. I've been called everything pretty much. I think society does need a wake up call but thats not gonna happen unless more people like you are in the world. I'm exactly like you, I think the same as you. You're amazing <3

Thanks for the pep talk! We tell ourselves this stuff over and over again and we still don't get it sometimes. We are beautiful. All of us. We have kids, we have parents, we have issues, there is something we can do about it! Respect ourselves and teach our children how to be healthy and respect themselves. Make sure they know that they are loved and cherished. And that we are worth something too. No one will care unless you care.

@jessicarogala I know someone killing themselves is their option, but it is also partly the other persons choice to have bullied them into it, or even told to go kill themselves. Even I have gotten messages from people saying you're so dumb go kill yourself and if I took that seriously then I wouldn't be here. But I'm strong compared to sooo many girls and guys out there. And its just sad that people feel the need to hurt themselves over some coward who cant say it too there face! xox
