It is often said that talk radio is simply pure entertainment and is not to be taken seriously. Given the medium's power, influence and scope, nothing could be more absurd.

  • Why did you include a picture of Michael Savage ? I don't think he is anything like Rush or Hannity. He criticizes republicans and the policies made by Bush adminstration as much as he criticizes the liberals and obama. He also isn't a fan of Palin. Though , when it is all said and done, he will support mccain over obama.

  • I agree about Savage. There are exceptions, but Savage does often tow the neocon line on war as well.

  • Your definitions of terms and mine differ. I love America. I fought for America in VietNam, but the country I love has been betrayed by the left. Maybe you should look more closely at Anerican History.Consider people from the South as individuals instead of as a group. Groupthink=predjudice. Moreover, the first group of States wanting to secede was New England. Northern states treated everyone who was not a WASP with equal hatred. Irish, Jews and Africans were all regarded as sub-human.

  • You should've ended the video with "...and McCain can suck a fat cock?" Five stars nonetheless.

  • Greatest hoax of rightwing media: To never count itself part of the mainstream media, no matter how popular (see Talk Radio, but also Fox News).

  • @southernavenger

If Beck's independent from the Republican party, then so is Savage.

  • You forgot Glenn Beck and Mark Levin.

  • Being from North Dakota, I grew up listening to Ed Schultz occassionally. Prior to his national syndication as a "liberal" talk show host, he was a regional powerhouse that had a conservative viewpoint, much like Limbaugh did then and still has now. Even to this day, whenever I hear Ed Schultz mouth a liberal line of discourse, I still find myself drawing parallel to Rush Limbaugh. I have called him, as likely others have, the liberal "Rush Limbaugh".

  • Limbaugh is a dick!

  • You're welcome, and thank you for pointing out that I was guilty of "profiling" liberals as well. I disagree with their philosophy, but I will not doubt their patriotism.

  • what?

  • i see your point and i will admit it was a narrow view. wht i meant was those who specifically had those views. i was wrong not to clarify thank you for letting me know. i tend to be less anylitical when responding to a comment rather than making one. i must point out though that your comment refering to the "entire left" as betrying our country "groupthink" as well. many lefties dont judge, are god fearing, and also fight or have fought for our country.also sicerely: thank you for your service

  • That's before we had immigration laws genius.
