Another cool Rockman 2 hack! Doesn't seem to be as difficult as Rockman No Constancy at first but still there are some really hard parts and lots of challenge in this game.

Airman first. Not harder stages in game but some tricky parts here too. Not so sophisticated strategy with boss but it worked.

  • Was this game made by the same person who made Rockman 5: Wilys dream space? cuz he used those gordos as spikes and uses a lot of kirby music in both games

  • @SomeUntakenUsername Yeah, I think they are both made by TAR.

  • what is the absolute best mega man 2 hack?

  • @advancedpillow I think it's still between Rockman No Constancy and Rockman Deus Ex Machina. I haven't come across any really good MM2 hacks lately... Rockman 4 MI has to be the ultimate Megaman hack in general even if it's not totally completed yet.

  • I think the creator of this hack likes Kirby.

    I think. Maybe.

    HMMM

  • So the storyline music is the opening theme from Final Fantasy Adventure, the Continue screen is the same as in Megaman 3, the Arena Break Room music plays when choosing a robot master, the Donkey Kong startup tune plays on the robot pose screen...and Air Man's stage has music from Final Fantasy Legend II?

  • @Toopelius Thanks so much for replying! I will DEFINITELY check out your recommendations.

  • @TheSkunkCat Well, you can try Rockman Sparking To Hero for example, I think that one is not that hard. Some hacks use cheap deaths but I think in most of the better hacks it's more about practicing a good strategy, not about memorizing traps. And hey, does a good game where you don't need to practice at all even exist?

I get your point but I just think that even if good Megaman hacks are usually really difficult, they are rarely cheap.

  • @TheSkunkCat

Don't get me wrong either, I don't mind hard when it's a FAIR kind of hard. The type of hard based on SKILL, and not in memorizing cheap death traps like *ugh-barf* 'battletoads' (man fuck that game) But seriously... Cheap deaths just make a game annoying.

  • @Toopelius

Do they actually even MAKE hacks that are NOT geared towards the 'nerds-who-can-finish-*shudder-barf*-Battletoads-*ugh*-with-their-cocks-whilst-blindfolded-and-who-are-snarky-at-you-for-not-being-able-to-do-so' type crowd?

I mean, I like the visual design of some of these hacks, alot even with some of them. But they don't seem to be FUN to play from the looks of them. They seem to be more 'full of cheap deaths to make it harder.'

  • nice SaGa music, (FFL)

  • fun megaman !
