I'm dealing with the same thing right now...I know I don't have to say it, but ignore the assholes who say that he's "spoiled". They have no idea what it's like. None at all.

I'm kinda like psychicfreak as well but not that intense anymore. Almost committed suicide from bullying and rejection in my 7th & 8th grade years.

@BullzeyePrO at diagnosis we were told "OCD tendencies" but yes, its often hand in hand

Thank u 4 sharing. This mustnt be easy. I've noticed there are people who have made judgemental comments. Im curious to know if they are professional opinions? Or if they have the opportunity to parent a child who's development may appear different to the other children in their age-range?
Early intervention helps children w/ PDD diagnosis reach developmental milestones closer to the expected age. Worst case senario if it is a misdiagnosis is that ur child learns new skills. tc & thank u again.

@Nightowl2548 thank you!! i'm saying the same thing and people call me an idiot. people should give kids a chance to grow out of things before sending him off to a shrink at the age of 4.

Just wondering, he repeated that sentence a couple of times, does he have OCD?

@raenorri Interesting, about his age at diagnosis. My kid sister was less than 12 months old when diagnosis of Autism was given, and about the same time Aspergers. She never got mainstream school, though. How is it like, to be sending your Aspie child to school?

Hi, I'm trying to bring awareness to autism and on my way I found this great new independent film called "White Frog". It centers around a boy who has "aspergers" it's a form of autism. I loved the trailer so much I created this youtube channel for it. Please please take a few minutes out of your day to check the trailer out and help me get the word out. Just type in "White frog movie trailer 2" on youtube. Thank you sooo much for your help
No one knows their child better than the parents. And no one knows when something is wrong before they do. Good luck with your boy. How is his sister doing? Your situation is very similar with a boy Aspie who is now 11 and his sister who is 9. I recently posted the video where he discusses his asperger's with his classmates. So far, we think this was a good move. Take good care.

I don't see any asperger's here. What i see is a spoilt brat that didn't get what HE wanted. When I was growing up this type of "meltdowns" was easily and quicvkly cured by daddy's belt. For you it's easier to blame some "asperger's syndrom' rather than admit that you cannot control your child properly

@umnayazhopa you are very incorrect. and sadly, youtube does not allow enough characters for a proper response to such ignorance.
