I notice that you didn't say NOTHING, ABSOLUTELY NOTHING about the OWNERS and how much money they make. Where are those figures? The athletes salaries are public information but what about the owner's finances? Why no discussion about that? And why would the owners pay these kinds of salaries? The owners aren't stupid men. They are about making money. These athletes are an investment and they make a lot money for the owners. It's business. Investments.

i think they should get paid that much because of a couple reasons

1 its very to get what they are 1 in a millione

2 its depends on the corprate, executives.TV ,merchandise, fans are what generate the big sums of money.

3 they dont get paid as much as what their company /organization makes off them the nba probably made over a billion dollars of lebron james alone.

4 it depends on what you play for how big the league is

5 paul allen owns portland trail blazers hes worth about $20 billion
