King Dedede's Theme on Guitar Hero

This is King Dedede's Theme song. After considering a bunch of different versions, I chose the one created by Yumemaxx on Youtube. I started the song back in November, but I didn't have a chance to complete it until recently.

I kept the lead and bass pretty much the same, and I used the beat to create the basic drum notes. However, since the techno sound doesn't translate well, I added my own stuff in the rhythm and keyboard parts to make it sound more complete. I also mixed up certain parts of the drum notes to add some variety.

Somehow, I turned the techno version into a rock song. I think it translated over to Guitar Hero pretty well. *And thanks YumeMaxx for making the awesome techno remix.

Well, it did take a good amount of effort trying to figure out the best way to recreate the song. However, I did a majority of it on New Year's Eve. I had it started from early November, and finally got back to what I started in a kind of rare moment of free time.

I pretty much completely reworked what I had started, keeping only what I had done of the lead. I started around mid-day, worked on and off, and finished in the early evening. The lead and drums are generally the hardest part to get going. Once you get them down, the rest kinda just comes together.
